Memoirs hold a very important place in the world of queer literature. They often remind us of who we are, where we have been, and where we are going. However, making a memoir exceptional poses unique challenges.

A panel of successful writers will discuss the ways in which they approach memoir-writing. They will explore the techniques that work for them and give us insights into their writing process. They will examine the ways in which truth, structure, language, and personal history play a role in their work.
